Parkinson's disease may be one of the most baffling and complex of all neurological disorders. There is no one simple cause for Parkinson's disease. Because the symptoms of Parkinson's disease advance slowly, patients will have time to modify their lifestyle, if necessary, to include sufficient exercise, balanced diets, rest and recreation, and to develop purposeful interests. Literatures have shown the benefits of dance for Parkinson's in terms of enjoyment, stimulation, mechanisms of action and social nature.

Yee Hong strongly believes every senior has potential to grow, and is committed to be innovative in supporting such growth. Since September 2017, Yee Hong, in collaboration with Dance DNA Studio, has developed and conducted the “I Can Dance” program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease or other Parkinson-like illness so that they can experience the joy and benefits of dancing. The pilot project demonstrated encouraging results that has shown a positive impact to the participants.
